If you ever bothered to listen you might learn something. I'll say anything to annoy Cas fans, but my opinions on the Trinity teams are always fair and balanced.

Only player I've got wrong recently is Williams, I thought his kicking game would be exceptional - it isn't.

In fairness, you're not the only one who was positive about his signing, but whilst I'm not minded to go back and dig up old threads to prove a point, there were plenty who thought it was a massive error - the old Cas cast-off argument was trotted out again.

McShane was similarly debated - and he's turned out to be an absolutely key cog in the Cas machine - so that's probably fair exchange.

Wasnt McShane a swap deal for Scott Moore?

Finn was just an off season signing

That's how I remember it as well.

Although Scott Moore had some good moments, there is little doubt who got the best deal out of the Moore/McShane "swap".

I think it was us.

McShane thought he was too good for us and looked like he didn't want to play for us whereas Scott Moore did.

Had we not made the swap in my opinion we would now be languishing in the Championship rather that challenging for the semifinals.

Clearly us because McShane was a lazy tub of lard and the only player we've had with a bigger gut was Jarrod Hickey.

For our requirements, we got the best deal from the McShane & Moore swap. Heart as big as a pea. I think MC would have been glad to allow McShane to leave full-stop, the fact that Moore was an option was a bonus.

I didn't mean that Finn and McShane were direct swaps - it was more a general comment about the revolving door between us and Cas, which drew some criticism at the time for us taking Cas cast-offs.

I take the point about Moore and McShane - the latter is clearly excellent at Cas, so that gives some credence to the suggestion that he didn't want to be here - so didn't give of his best; Moore may have been radged, but he never shirked, and always gave 100% when he was on the field.

Yeah I did actually, you just probably haven't realised because I haven't spent the last two years bragging about it to anyone who'll listen.
