Reading Mike Rylance's history of Trin the thing that most stands out is how we haven't changed much as a club in over 100 years - we still have money struggles, have to rely on home grown/locally scouted young(er) players, unearth the occasional gem, sign the odd ageing star, still have tussles with the so-called wealthier clubs (especially shudds & leeds - bulls have flunked their role in that trio lately) and still need to move to a new ground......yet we're all still here talking about & watching the team we love, disagreeing on how best we can improve it but all with a common aim.
I'll never forget leaving the ground after our most recent great escape, the 1st £1m game and listening to the bulls fans whinging about how they were robbed (don't know which game or ref they were watching but it wasn't the same one i saw) and how unjust it was that we'd only won 3 games all season but were still in SL...p1ss funny
