I feel & hope the same but as a Trinity fan, you just can't be sure. If we play like we did especially first half against Wigan we should win well but if we get into a penalty-strewn dogfight we'll make the job harder than it needs to be and Widnes so far this season have proven no mugs.
Looking at the weather forecast it's gonna be another cold evening but at least there's no rain forecast, for whatever that's worth. Where maybe playing expansive rugby won't be the order of the day, at least not in the first half, or until we put ourselves into a position to earn to play that way.
Hate to say it but we defo could do with the 2 points because we've got a run of quality opposition coming up for the next 7 games after this. We really need to make Belle Vue a bit of a fortress this season. Obviously, we aren't going to win every game away against the top 5 or so teams, so we've got to try to pick as many of them off at home and hopefully the odd one away.
