I never actually claimed to write that though so I'm not sure what you're getting at? Regardless of what you think it's my opinion and what is wrote on the Trinity website only further re-assures me that Hooley is/will be fit for the role of full back.

Yes he did, i didn't actually realise that they were brothers.. Was reading up on Simon recently and his awful circumstances over the last few years.

You asked what his point was. I was explaining it. I wasn't adopting a position either way.

I don't doubt the kid has talent I just think there are too many basic errors and Hooley for me doesn't make them, he really seems to be the real deal.

Give the lad a chance is all I can say.

The difference is that Max has played and made the errors you note in super league, whereas Hooley has only played championship/ under 19s, so errors are likely to be less for numerous reasons.

Also a side note, name a player who doesn't make errors?! And at full back these errors and their effects are always highlighted

Point taken, I still have more faith in Hooley.

I just think the errors he's making are unforgivable, every game he's played so far that I've seen there has been something diabolical that has happened which gives me no faith in him as a FB. He seems to be very good ball in hand when we're attacking, Jowitt has through some wonderful cut out passes and shown a little bit of pace when doing so, potential in the halves possibly but not over Miller, Rocky or Finn.
