Are they really supporters (both sides) or just there to cause trouble? I only ask because at last years magic weekend some idiots in front of us let a flare off and then ran away. They didn't have official Cas merchandise on but cheap tee shirts with a tiger on the front. Never seen them before or since.
Disappointingly, some of ours are regular "fans" and whilst the vast majority of our fans are well behaved and a credit to the club, just a few are there for their own personal "amusement", rather than supporting the Club.
However, for the first time at a non cup final/ major event, I think all Trinity fans were frisked/searched before entering the ground and I actually asked why this was. The steward said there were reports of Trinity "fans" setting flares off in the town centre. So, I believe they were expecting something to happen at the game.
It would be almost impossible to find "flares" of the type thrown as they are pretty small and would be easy to keep out of sight.
