broughy has never backed off any challenge who ever came his way but there is only so much a player of his size could take, bearing in mind he's a threat on a attack it would certainly put a shed load on his game plan

remember vainikolo being ripped to bits by leeds and sinfield, the guys legs was like jelly at the end of the game

I agree with this also, Danny may have lost his pace but he is still one of the most aggressive defenders out there.
He really gets stuck in and he also still has a great kicking game

Yes, he's a right niggly git these days but, I really dont see him bothering Pauli, do you ?

No, but neither do i see him bothering Brough either. There are many halfbacks you could intimidate in this way, but Brough isn't one of them. Winding him up and getting him to blow his top would be a much better tactic.

That will work to our advantage. If Brough gets stuck in to PP he may well stop him breaking through but he'll be in bits after doing it.
That can only be good for us.

Yes saw the tackle on super league show for me it's a 10 match ban horrible could of crippled Widnes player

Strange one to predict this; because we've been on a dreadful run, then bounced back with a 50odd point drubbing against HKR, who were truly terrible apart from a 20 minute purple patch, without really playing especially well.

Shudds have always been our bogey team - and although I think Broughy is pretty much a busted flush these days, he's just the type to play a blinder in a game like this; and they will potentially have that new coach effect to bring to the party.

I agree with other posters, one thing about Broughy is that he can get stuck in either within or outside the laws of the game. If we can 'persuade' him to get stuck in outside the laws of the game there is the chance that Huddersfield may not function as well as they could.
