Lets hope fans get back into the habit of a London away trip. I'm looking forward to it. No way would I have trailed over to Toronto.

It's not the away fans that London have to worry about, although it was always an excellent away day, it's finding a bigger home and attracting enough of their own fans.
Their current home has a capacity of 3000 and is woefully short of being a SL ground so, lets just hope that they have somewhere lined up and that their long suffering nomadic fans want to make the trip.
David Ward is without doubt coach of the year across the 3 "professional" leagues.

Time keeping is done by the ref not the big clock I think. Doesn't matter if they mess that up apart from it causing confusion in the crowd.

It's not or it certainly didn't used to be. There are two time keepers, one from each club. The Ref can stop the clock but the timekeepers prsee the H/T and FT buzzer.

I'm pretty certain that the RFL now provide the Timekeeper

I wasn't sure, so I stand corrected, but the timekeeper isn't the stadium clock though is it? That I thought was just for the crowd, and they simply try and stop the clock at the same time as the timekeeper.
I don't know for sure. I'm asking rather than telling.

I hope not, it's usually miles off.

I do believe that for televised games the Official RFL Timekeeper is synchronised with the broadcaster so the time on the big screen is in real time. Not sure when the RFL dispensed with Club time keepers but just another area they want to have control over, in the timekeeping case it's not necessarily a bad thing though

Looked like something knocked up by some school kids.

You can always count on RL making a mockery of itself .

I'm not sure which is worse, that trophy, or the rFL congratulating Toronto on their promotion on Twitter afterwards

I'm quite looking forward to a trip to London for this game, make a weekend of it. Assuming the dates all line-up with other commitments.
