Its not YorkCourt that you can take legal proceedings against, they have not done anything wrong, they are only doing what the Council has, is allowing them to do. This situation has been set up by the Council so if you wanted to go legal you would need to instigate a judicial review, to review how the council have handled things from day one, it could take at least a year and you would need a minimum of £ 300,000 to fund it. Not sure where that would come from, people have talked about crowd funding, think that may achieve say £ 10,000
