I'm not being funny, but do you live in some kind of fairytale existence?! Comments on here, comments to your mate coming out of the ground, comments in the pub etc are going to be reflective of performances on the field, mostly negative because the performances aren't very good?! If the performances/results improve........so will the comments?!! Let's be honest, an RL team getting a bit of stick is pretty tame as far as professional sport goes. Footballers in South America have been murdered for playing badly!!!! It goes with the territory, rightly or wrongly. Also the coach you are defending said 95% of RL is about attitude, yet you don't agree with him? I assume that's why he apologised after the game, for the players' attitude towards the game in question.........but I could be wrong.
Yes. I live in a purple castle with jewels on the walls with Snow White. Why do you ask?
That was my point the fans are doing everything they can turning up every week, shouting, supporting, we're playing our part it's up to Chester & the team to do there's

Indeed. Look at London first game this year. Buzz about the new season, coach and players talking pre match about reasonable but exciting prospects for the season, fans going down in droves, social media just filled with excited fans and just all round positivity. And all those Wakey fans got repaid with the most embarrassing start imaginable.
The Leeds Easter Monday game I would say the fans cheered the team into win. You could see with the injuries to key players that everyone was scraping to win.

Sounds idyllic. Obviously I don't know you at all, but going from your posts, I think you're a good bloke who would find it hard to criticise anyone, a glass half full kinda guy, always sees the good in everybody. I think you would give pats on the back, and encourage no matter what, and it would go against your better nature to be critical, which you know what, you'd be a better man than me honestly. I just think you find it hard to understand people who criticise, because you can't see how that helps a certain situation? But I think you're missing the point mate?!! They are being critical because they can't see how that would make a situation worse than it already is?! It's a way of releasing frustration I guess, venting anger, letting off steam, maybe feeling slightly cheated in their eyes, that they've paid their hard earned, and they ain't getting value for their money?!! No team in any sport has a divine right to win any game, and losses have to be taken on the chin etc.......but in my eyes, there's a way to lose, and the way we lost to London twice, Salford and the last game to me were unacceptable, because we didn't compete. You may disagree, which is fair enough, as it isn't an exact science as re. 'effort' being put in. I bet though we are both in agreement that both of us and 99% of people on here want a successful Wakefield Trinity, after seemingly endless years of false dawns and disappointment, and most of the waffle on here is pure frustration, and not malicious in any way.....

In all fairness I agree with you and understand what you are saying about why people post what they post. You are right that I'm more likely to find a way to encourage than criticise but I'm as critical as the next guy when I want to be. The difference for me is that I don't like the follow up reaction of 'sack him', or 'he's rubbish'. I'm just not as black and white as that. Even though I don't like where we are and don't much like how we are playing, I still think the core group of players are the right group and I want to see them get out of it.
I get that people are just passionate. If I didn't I probably wouldn't post on here.
All any fan want regardless of sport is when they put their club shirt on and run out for their club is to play with passion and pride ,regardless if they win or lose as long as they have seen to give their all the fans will be right behind them through thick and thin. I’ll be on the terraces on Friday night like I’ve been for over 50 years ,and I’ll be happy win or lose if I can see that the team have put the effort in ,not a lot to ask for really.Im not expecting them to be at their best but I am hoping we are competitive .What frustrates me more about this squad we have got is it’s by far the best assembled in my memory yet that spark has gone on the field .Lets hope we all find a way to reignite that spark staring this Friday

Why arnt you expecting them to be at their best? I certainly am. We are in a bit of a rut at the moment and wel learn a lot about the squad in the next few weeks. Have we got a JD or a few of them with some dog in them to stick their hands up and say give me it or il do it or the March twins over my dead body attitude with that annoying little rat in them. If we have I hope we see it and we meet the challenge head on.
Have any of you ever had your son messaging you to apologise for the performance and supposedly wasting his dad and his mums money, no, well I have, no I didn’t waste my money, no I didn’t bag any players, yes it was a poor performance but I’ll be one on the terraces come Friday or any other Wakefield game. Get over it, move on dry your eyes put your keyboards away and get behind them
That speaks volumes about the kind of man Jordan is in my opinion. Whilst I'm not happy at all with the performance (of the team, not one person in particular) I am heartened by the fact that he felt the need to apologise. That tells me that he (and hopefully the rest of the team) are feeling the pain too and willing to do something about it.

With Big Dave likely to be missing, perhaps it's time for Pauli to put his hand up ??? (He obviously would be the BIGGEST rat we have ever seen in a Trin shirt !!)
