And I thought I was a glass half full guy, you really need to change your username to Mr Negativity. I guess you’ll never change, your views or even offer support when our club needs it most.
You cannot blindly support the club even in so called times of need. We have apparently has season ticket holders giving the club over £100,000 by not asking for our money back. We have one of the highest season ticket prices, the drinks let’s be honest are expensive and if you want to go into the bar you need to pay an additional subscription. The supporters that do use this facility are obviously happy to pay.
In return all we ask is for a competitive team who turn out acceptable performances on the field. What we are getting is neither of these and we appear to be preparing to once again trim our squad. I wonder how many of those that are out of contract will be resigned because these will be the easiest to jettison.
I fear we are on a cliff edge which could see us disintegrate as a club on the field which will result in loss of revenue and a similar outcome off of it. The one thing we cannot afford at any cost is relegation, we have been close too many times and our luck will eventually run out.
We the supporters will continue to support Wakefield Trinity because that is what we do but what will others do when the club would really be at a time of need.
I know it is another negative post but I feel some on here need a reality check. We cannot allow even this short season to go without vast improvements because this will impact on sales which on past statements will mean we will be going into next without the funds to produce a competitive team when relegation returns.
