Our last play kicks tonight we’re the worst I have ever seen ever...... and I mean EVER

The forwards did a good job tonight,
A good scrum half would have won us that game

Our last play kicks were all poor and clueless,

On a positive note I thought Pitt’s, tangy and Topou all played very well, we look better when the ball goes through westermam too

Also great to see BJB back, never have we needed his experience more, a solid first game back for us

Senior did exactly that same against Catalans.

tom as been doing the same for years he can tackle strong but he can’t defend, if anyone with a brain in their head worked with him regularly on positioning he’d play for England all the time. As for senior it was nothing to do with numbers he shot straight across the centre, it’s all about trusting your inside man unless your too thick to learn

Add Westerman into that, he was outstanding in a ball playing role with younger lads clearly looking up to him. Did he play 80?

Pitts kelpi and joe where excellent not sure what you saw in billy..at end of day therw was effort today big time but its still another defeat what is it now 5 wins in 28 .im not having ago at anyone but that would of got us relegated if it been in a full season

Agree regarding the kicking game it’s dreadful, absolutely dreadful. First set of the game we make some decent metres and rather than put up a contested kick we drill it into touch. Baffling.

I’m not going to knock young Bailey but Hampshire has to do better. He’s the senior half who’s job it is to end our sets well. I’m not expecting anything spectacular from deep in our own half but attacking kicks within Hulls 20 were dire.

Can’t knock the effort, line speed best I’ve seen in recent years. Doing it tough and I don’t know if it’s just my rose tinted glasses but we seem to get some tough calls against us and any kind of luck isn’t going our way.

The problem is that we are just scared to make an error which results in negative plays. The problem is we can’t even control the ball so still make mistakes when just driving it in or passing along the line.

Nine changes from last week,,,two on debut...three playing their first game in about 6 months...others hardly played since lockdown, training disrupted with Covid etc...and we’re expecting fast, free flowing, error free rugby?

Add to that we seem to have wretched luck with close 50/50 calls...both video ref tries questionable and both given...

At least this week though we made a good game of it and we’re a bit unfortunate not to get the win...I said pre game, playing against a team who we looked pretty even against on paper it would be better...unlike the last three playing top teams at near full strength...

Was a good effort overall with plenty of positives...thought Bailey went well and Aydin certainly made an impression with line speed and aggression in the tackle...

Sorry, I'm with Dreadnought on this one. That was Max's fault.
I've said it before and they pointed it out on Sky. He has a great pass but hasn't got great decision making of when to let it go.

On that occasion he let it go too early. Thought he had a good game though and was always in the thick of the action looking to make a positive contribution to the game.

Sorry, I didn't actually want it to come across as "he had a bad game". Just released the ball early on a few occasions.
