For those of us who like to be reasonable it’s getting difficult. I really don’t know where it’s going wrong and don’t claim to unlike some.
However what I don’t get is how the players seem to be absolved of guilt. Mopseys ludicrous assumption that CC is making good players look bad is frankly pathetic. If they were good players they wouldn’t look bad no matter what would they. These are now bad players playing badly and share the blame.
CC probably needs to go because he’s lost it, whatever it is. However he’s been stabbed in the back by a number of players who’s performances simply can’t be blamed on anyone else but themselves.
How long before the next white knight coach gets the same treatment, probably even sooner than Chester I suspect.
A clear out of players is as needed as any of the coaching staff.
I agree.
I find it hard to understand the outrage at losing to Catalan away as any team would find that hard in any season. I also find it strange that so many know exactly what the issue is even though none of us saw the game.
But I have to say I quite like Chester. He's done good things while he has been here and they are conveniently forgotten. I like Carter because of how he has saved the club and got us to a much safer position financially. We would have gone under this year with previous administrations. I also like David Fifita and hope he gets back to his best.
But the important thing is, I don't support these people. I support Wakefield Trinity.
I've been supporting since the 70s. Seen a lot of good and bad teams but I've never felt the need to stop supporting in the bad times. In some ways my expectations are probably lower because of this.
But even if we get beat by 50 in every game from now on, I'll be unhappy and a bit demoralised but I'll be watching next year no matter what.
