Chester doesn't need anyone else to undermine his position, he's doing a good enough job of doing that himself.
Perhaps bringing Kear back in as a consultant would make Chester realise how much he's messed up the opportunities he's been given though

I have met Chester on a few occasion, have you? He strikes me as a very open-minded and reasonable man and not in any way pig-headed. Chester will probably have to go if we are to ever regain any kind of form. However, you are living in a fool's paradise if you think Chester alone is the root cause of our problems, he simply isn't. It's endemic throughout the club especially amongst the players, many of whom no longer give a toss, This is because many were allowed to raise themselves at Trinity, an opportunity few would have received at any other club. However, they have now lost their will to push themselves and have reverted to the second-raters many really are.
Chesters biggest failure is to put too much faith in these players whilst ignoring the ones who care. He needs to look back to his first season when it was the youngsters like TJ and Jowitt who led the way instead of forever looking for quick fixes. He got lucky with Fifita but he's never really repeated that, the rest are what they are.
Gigot just stinks of desperation as do a few of the others. Ditto the utterly inconsistent team selections, even taking COVID and injuries into account he just seems to lack the will to stick with any kind of formation. Why he is how he is now when I really don't think he is that kind of man baffles me.
Baily did nothing wrong, show some balls Chris and go with the youngsters, what the feck have you got to lose!
