£475 is a great effort but from what I’ve got back so far we may need a little (lot) more but I’m sure we can spread this to face book etc. It certainly isn’t cheap!
Although I’m pretty sure the club will take whatever we can offer I’m pretty sure they won’t be pushing it themselves. One, I don’t think it’s a priority and secondly and to their credit I think they are reluctant to ask fans for more money at this point.
As an alternative we could go for a Mail drop perhaps which in many ways is more direct and targeted. Anyway I’m just speculating as I haven’t got all the figures in yet.

If the club aren't too keen on the advertising boards, is there some other form of advertising / promotion which they feel would be more cost effective (in terms of spend v return ?
Genuine comment here, but don't you actually need passing foot traffic to increase the exposure? I know it's lockdown but Trinity Walk is dead.
To be honest I tend to agree. What I intend to do when I see MC/JM says the forum is offering xxx£ for a publicity drive and suggest to us what they think is the best way to approach the subject. They may agree that TW advertising is the way or may have a better suggestion.

Fair comment on TW, but things are opening up. This all stemmed from the WAFC digital advert going into Wakefield on the A61, that has plenty of passing traffic and schools and traffic lights so people sit there spending 1-2 minutes staring at nothing other than the billboard. Ultimately it's about creating awareness, keeping the club in the mindset of potential support, because its not cut and dry that x amount of money spent on this will bring in x amount of extra punters it's a hard one to justify to a cash strapped club, particularly when an accountant by trade is running matters
For me the below image with the Coming Soon, Be Ready and all the hashtag malarkey would be immense but I accept it would have to form part of a wider campaign as its not clear what its promoting.

Ok, folks the Trinity Walk screen, which IMHO is far and away the best one is a non-starter as far as I can see. For two weeks you don't get much change from 4k!!! It's also booked up for months although I got the impression they couldn't have been less interested in us. I honestly think that's a waste of some serious money that the club could use elsewhere, just my opinion.
Anyway, I've looked at the alternatives for our budget and I've come up with this. I think it's much better value for money and will make more hits.
15,000 A5 leaflets printed and delivered for £975 if we can get that high. I've not run any of this past the club but for me, it's a no-brainer. Needs to be done for the first match where there are no Covid restrictions IMO or it's a bit pointless.
I'd suggest we target residential areas where the demographic have some interest, Eastmoor, Sandal, Walton, Crofton, Sharlestone, Stanley, Lupset etc. If we can go up to £1,265 (you could add Normanton, Wrenthorpe, Outwood etc) but I'm sure people at the club would have a better idea.
Obviously any other suggestions welcome.
I'm also willing to chuck in for free 200 A3 posters and a downloadable A4 version if the club is interested and people are willing to distribute them.
I've mocked up a rough idea, not sure if they are double-sided and if they are it might only be black and white but assuming they are.
Is everyone happy for me to pursue this idea instead?

for me this is a great idea. targeting all those new houses on Neil Fox way would be a great start. If people could distribute targeted areas, it is also a great way to exercise in the current climate. count me in
