I think game has gone soft in many areas but hits to the head should be clamped down on. Lads have parents, their own families and a future after rugby. Look at Stevie Ward! I agree it was a red card wrencat.

With what’s going on with head injuries any tackle to the head should be a red

What's most disappointing is that the VR had a look at the challenge and didn't think this.
Ultimately Trinity lose out because of spineless officials.

How bad does a challenge need to be to get a red ??

Surely the shoulder is often worse than a swinging arm because of the body weight behind it?

at first I didn't see it as a red, yellow yes but on reflection this is another game where one of our key players has been taken out of the game not to return and could of influenced the final result.

this needs addressing in front of the governing body

In the NRL you are now able to bring an 18th man in to the playing squad if a player can't continue due to foul play, so we would have been able to bring on a fresh man

Don't think the referee bottled it at all, he would have been watching the game and that's why he didn't blow for a foul, it was the video ref what called it on a replay, surely it's his responsibility to have sent him off, nothing to link the 2 games together, but last week he showed just how inept he is with his decision making then and has continued to do so with another poor decision.

If not the ref, then, certainly the VR.
It was a red card all day long so, I'll say, between them (ref and VR) they got it wrong.

So you agree then, it was Kendall and not Thaler, of course it was a red card all day long, how can you say that they got it wrong between them when the referee did not see it and took advice from the video referee, dear me.
