Of course I'm biased, but that doesn't make me wrong. How often is senior first in to a tackle, how many times does he just stick and arm out, how many times does he just stand there or just slowly trot behind the player that's just beaten him on the outside. Have a watch at the Wigan highlights from the away game a couple of weeks ago to see 3 tries that's totally highlight all those points, and they are not in isolation :thumb:
As for bags more experience, he's only played 2 SL games more at Centre :?
Anywaysup he can't be recalled until 30th August so not many SL games he could possibly get a chance in regardless of results :thumb:

Don’t get me wrong if it were me…

But I’m not a coach and I can see where Poching may be reluctant. The decisions he makes now will define his future. Whichever way you view it Senior doesn’t deserve dropping after last week even if his form has been up and down all season.

It’s a tricky one but as you know most coaches go for continuity.

My question is why take Senior in the first place when to me both Croft and your lad offered decent cover for the centres. True Croft got injured but that was after Senior was signed and at that point Croft had played way more in the centres. Never made sense to me, not the signing in that position but the signing of a player who offered us no more than what we already had. Slap in the face for definite and typical CC I’m afraid.

However this in WP and he has to be given the benefit for now.

Wasn't Senior taken on loan as as wing cover originally rather than a spare centre? Not saying he should have precedence over anyone currently but that's how he ended up here.

He was initially signed as cover for wing after Johnstone Kershaw and Kay all got injured, but for me crofty and our Ollie could have covered wing as well as centre, Ollies been playing wing for doncaster and totally ripping it up, I know it's league one, but its also not his best position, he's no chance of centre in that team with who they have so he's making the most of what he's been given. Signing a 20 year old on loan from hudds sends the wrong message out to our own 20 year olds striving for a game. I'm not blaming poachin as the loan deal was done before CC got the boot, but for me it was hasty to only give him one game out of position and then effectively cast him off. Fortunately Donny value his contribution, not just the coach but the fans as well, which says a lot about him and his professional approach to playing :thumb:

This is what gets me.
Wigan and Saints regularly blood young players but we seem reluctant to.
Don't get me wrong I wouldn't play one who is not mature enough physically or mentally, but they aren't all immature!

TBH attending away games has no real benefit to the club, so long as you attend most home games that’s all that is required imho.

Apart from that if you buy a ticket from the club then the club gets a cut of the money.

Getting caught in a shower of bottles some years ago has led us to not attend evening games there. Being herded back into WR was frightening.

Remember that well I was walking down wheldon road with a Cas fan with his daughter when we were hit by bottles, Not stop me going thou still love going to the Cas game with the great atmosphere.
