I'm sick and tired of the big clubs dictating the direction that the game is going and making a right balls of it.
Perhaps you could remind us which club(s) ran out of money and then forced the switch to summer rugby and have helped the game got form 16 English clubs in the top flight, down to 14, 12 and soon to be 10 (only 8 if were still just counting English clubs) ??

As for fans travelling from France, the best that can happen is that "some" will make it to 1 or 2 games each season.
Of course, going the other way, it's a great trip but, that's not really the point, is it.

Will having 2 French clubs help the next TV deal ?

Those like Snowie saying they are out should follow through if they don’t want Toulouse, or anyone not from the North of England in Super League, and find another sport. I spent ten years working with a bloke who maintained Londoners should not play rugby league. The game is held back by parochialism, glass half full mentality, and just a pure and simple misery guts approach to life where moaning is the norm.
It’s some teams self serving mentality that has strangled the game through self interest, not Catalans or Toulouse.
Newcastle are coming through after thirty years of constant growth but I suppose they are too far away for some and have the wrong accent? They will soon be pushing for entry.
Shame for Fev but I fear their entry would be just one season, who knows, it may be for Toulouse.
Wakey have a massive season ahead, so do 11 other teams.
Those slagging off the RFL forget the elite is run by Super League.
I just wonder when some of you last smiled at anything you misery guts.

Sorry but I thought we were having this discussion because you came on here bad mouthing our fans for refusing to to travel to grounds over the Pennines especially Friday nights, and if you were really interested in our support you'll find that once again apart from FC and Leeds our fans travel as well as the rest while playing in God's own County, speaking of which, remind me how many super league clubs are there in Lancashire.

Moan moan moan that all us RL fans do all over social media , moan because saints are a cut above the rest and instead of club trying to emulate them we slater them . Moan because Toulouse gave stepped up into super league and how bad they are going to be for super league before a ball has been kicked . We Sit behind the tv at home and moan about how pathetic crowds are at big events . Boy if I were looking at getting into a sport to watch/ support I wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole . Yes the game could be run better ,and sky may have us over a barrel , but come on the game we all love is in a dip and instead of a rally cry ,we do what us British do best MOAN .

Hold on a minute.

I’m personally willing to accept Toulouse in SL, they got there fair and square, unlike PSG and Catalan.

However I don’t see how it’s in anyway moaning for people to point out the obvious problems. Or point out that from a purely club perspective how Fev would have been a better result for us, get real.

Be interesting to see how the greedy clubs and their fans will cope with this setback. That cosy league of 9 plus a token French team is now 8 plus two French teams as they won’t get away with binning them like they would ourselves.

It’s going to be hysterical watching them back stab each other. Personally I do hope it’s Wigan See if RG is so cocky then.

I dont have a problem with newcastle or any other team in mainland Britain where me my 2 lads and wife can attend an away game by simply jumping in the car i do however have an issue to attend an away game i realistically need a flight and at least 1 over night stay and the game costing me around 2k.also i believe (i may be proven wrong) there are only 2 airports in the uk that travel to toulouse Birmingham and a london airport thats really convenient isnt it

I'm fine with Toulouse.
It's a great rugby league area.

They got there on merit.
They bring as much to the game if not more than the other alternatives.
