I don`t know how we can really classify Hudds as predators when it comes to youth, the success of there youth development has been there on the field to see over the past few seasons, even in our side at the expense of developing one of our own academy lads.... I`d say they are ahead of ours in terms of getting young lads from academy into the first team.

Sure, they bought a couple of young lads from us about 10 years ago but it`s not just Hudds who go about doing that and if I remember rightly, with some of those swap deals, we ended up getting the better end of the deal. There no different to any other team in how they go about there business, for whatever reason a few of our fans tend to hold grudges because they bought a few players from us 10 years ago.

Then you're being incredibly naive IMO.

It's only because we don't have a selling chairman I can assure you. TJ and a few others would almost certainly be in other clubs colours by now, the most prominent being Hudds IMO.

Should MC ever leave I can assure you they will be at the receiver's door quicker than you can say vulture,

There you go again making unsubstantiated claims- that you say are true because….. well because you say so is the gist.
You have made numerous claims on this subject now- without a shred of any evidence or examples to back them up. Something you were accusing others of doing not too long ago- you really should go into politics.

I find your indignation hilarious, especially from a poster who goes out of their way to antagonise Trinity fans.

Hudds survive as an SL entity due to one man, without him you would be the basket case club you were through most of your history.

It’s the fact that this man can flash the cash that you’ve been able to sign many of your best players through the last two decades. Money talks and the promise of success is very appealing, Ken offers at least one of those.

I wouldn’t mind but all clubs attempting to be a top team are predators, it’s not new, grow up.

Leeds fundamentally purchased an entire club to get them started. Trinity in the sixties was in no way averse to raiding their neighbours. Wigan pillaged the game in the 80’s and 90’s.

It’s a myth that any club builds its success from within, it takes ruthless tactics and generally a bucket load of cash and even then it’s not certain.

Hudds want success? Then your a predator club so cut out the false outrage. I wouldn't mind but if we went bust you'd be the first demanding that you signed X, Y and Z, admit it. Oh and please don't suggest we have no one you want, that's just insulting our intelligence.

I hate to say it but Jools is right. Giants were a problem. If we get into financial difficulty they probably will be again. But right now and for quite a while now they haven't tried to tap our players and we've been in a position where players haven't wanted to leave.

Oh yes, they have. Just because it's not public and is quickly snuffed out doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

i will say they are not alone but they are always sniffing around.
