Not sure about that, Fifita has been winding them up since day one. Truth is you only need one, anymore and they become liabilities.
True.
Back in the 70's and 80's in particular, every team seemed to have it's 'pantomime villain'. I'm thinking, Jim Mills, John Burke, Dave Chisnall to name but three.
On the subject of Geoff Bagnall, I've been watching 'Vossy's Awesome 80's' on the Fox NRL Channel and came across Geoff playing for the original Gold Coast/Tweed Heads Seagulls with Wally Lewis as Captain-Coach, I've seen quite a few players who've pulled on the RWB in the games. Ray Price, Brian Jackson, Steve Ella, Paul Taylor at Parramatta. Geoff Gerrard at Penrith, Peter Benson in one of only four appearances for the Broncos, Darren Fritz at Canberra along with David Woods, Mark Graham at North Sydney and many more throughout the other teams. On every night at 9pm
If you can get access to the channel it's interesting to see all the guys who've pitched up at Wakefield.
