It would be a sticking plaster, that is all. If Poching has asked for help then fair enough as a director of Rugby or some other title, but with Cummings and Applegarth already, we will be top heavy on the coaching front. Fundamentally we need to find what was working up to Salford half time. Even in defeat we looked capable. Since then we have been woeful. From the outside it looks like something went off and has left a nasty stink on the playing squad.

I'm not sure it was that great before.

We looked good against Salford but we scored from deep predominantly through TJ.
We looked OK earlier in season when Walker played because we chanced our arm with wild chips and unlikely plays.

What we can't seem to do is score when we are on the opponents line. And that is a big deal for us.

We look like a completely different team that beat Warrington away twice .wonder if it's something to do with the tom Johnstone rumours.

Never said great, we just looked capable, yes the old struggling to score when in good territory was there, but then it has been for as long as I can remember regardless of the playing squad or coach. Other than against Leeds, which had it own mitigation, there seemed to be more intensity and togetherness, now, who knows. Maybe we've been found out and have no answer.

5 drives and a kick would be manner from heaven. how about two drives and a knock on or an incorrect play the ball . In Keith Seniors autobiography he alludes to Kear’s coaching philosophy of running through brick walls and very rudimentary set plays ,but to be honest I think it would do us no harm to get back to those basics and cut the silly errors out of our game ,until we can build our confidence back up again .

Did we play that well against them? We nearly threw the first game away if I remember correctly. Warrington were absolutely shocking.

Yeah, people forget that during 20+ years in Super League we have only ever won games because our opponents have been poor for that match. Indeed but for the linesman daring to notice a blatant knock on by Fev we wouldn't have been promoted in the 1st place!
