Think we can put this defeat on Fifita … starting 2 nd half a man down was criminal ! They were always going to come out fighting and we laid it on a plate for them !

It further didn't help when Butler did that stupid, so called tackle and Miller kicking early, the 'six agains' also didn't help.
Dumb rugby from players without self discipline!

Hope there are mass brawls in the Hull derby, with HKR getting about six suspended; trouble is we still won't be in with a chance next week.

Cant put it all on fifita yes what he did was stupid but we as a team should be able to cope for 10 mins with 12 .also what buttler did was just as bad if not worse.there was loads of errors that led to it

Well he could the other week when we won a couple, he could when he took over from Chester. The players committed suicide today 20 minutes with 12 men in 25 degrees is a jolly good show. The team had heart but we are an aging team who will play well for a few games and drop back to not. Its called over 30 legs gone, body gone and all those can keep bulling them up but it won't do any good. Some people need to hang their heads in shame

Sorry but he had halftime to work out a way to cover Fifita absence plus we were rested. I would guess based on the try’s they scored we were not prepared.

Shocking ill disciplined poor defensive display with a team that folded like a pack of cards…unnecessary back to back sin bins with some very strange team selections and inflexible probable pre arranged interchanges (instead of play what you see keeping Hood and Whitbread in the game when down to 12) led to a likely victory turning into an embarrassing capitulation and defeat.

Batchelor should have been at centre, Crowther at 13 and Bowes interchange hooker. Butler doesn’t look fit enough for Super League and should be in the reserves until he loses some timber and can keep up with the pace of the game.

I think a short term advisory role from someone like John Kear is needed otherwise it’s certain relegation.

Couldn't agree more to be honest.

If Poching went, we'd only go down the cheap route or to the next yes man.

Are we any better off than we were in 2013?

Sorry Mopsey but your adding weight to Vastmans argument.

We won Hull and Wire. Batch was instrumental in both at right centre. Poching rung the changes in a back to back winning team by moving Batch to the middle and the players replacing him went on to leak try’s for fun and right edge defence fell to bits. That was Poching choice to tinker with a winning team and he fluffed it up.

Same with Crowther. He admitted himself last year he isn’t a 9. It appears in Pochings grand plan to start Batch at 13 Crowther is being made into our interchange 9. A role that he struggled with and is struggling with again. Crowther was playing well at 13.

Why Poching is making decisions like this just confuses the heck out of me.
