Senior gives us some pace and, apart from that game against his parent club, he did pretty well last time.

Regarding Lineham, It's money lost and that's not going to change. If we play him we disadvantage ourselves. Just forget he exists.

Agree, we need continuity now and players in correct positions.

Smith/Lino are 6/7 for an extended period unless injured.

Langi is a centre.

Taufua is a winger.

Gaskell is a centre and not a pivot.

These are all things confirmed this season and unless there’s an emergency need they all need to play where they perform best.

I would be fine resting a handful for saints as looking at their team I don’t hold out much hope. I can understand if they go full strength though.

Cas is absolutely a must win and a few fresh bodies could seriously make a difference.

Who’d be a coach eh.

I see the sense in this one. For a start he's no stranger to the club and he does add some pace in the backs.

I assume also he's a better player now than last time.

Truth is with, Jowitt, Murphy, Hood, Tanginoa, Gaskell, Bowden, Atoni out we are struggling, most teams would. True, some are bigger losses than others, but it doesn't help.

On the plus we have Smith back, and against Salford his partnership with Lino was the only one this season that's looked half way creative.

I agree, but I honestly don't know what everyone's best position is anymore. I don't think anyone is excelling at any. Lots of options, but very little quality. I think having Bowden and Tanginoa back would make a big difference to the pack.

That's the conundrum though. If we ignore him, which I have no problem with, he still gets his wage. If we pick him to earn his wage, then he just doesn't try and puts in one more garbage performance. Do you cut your losses, agree to a payout which is less than the wage over this season.

TBH not many players have disappointed me individually this season. Gaskell has been poor at 6, and Atoni is yet to bring the house down but other than that its not individuals as far as I can see. It's a team issue, what that exactly is I don't know but it's been with us for a fair few years now.

True as a squad we are fairly weak after the initial 20, but not so much that we can't compete with most of the lower 6 teams. It's very frustrating in truth but until we can get a settled line up out there we will struggle.

I don’t like to bag players but Taufua is having a poor season.

If Senior plays like he did during his last loan spell he’s a significant upgrade on Taufua and Lineham…and adds some much needed pace.

In 2 days we have added significant pace and also a natural creative pivot at 1. Both much needed.
