Can't see us getting within 40 of Wigan at best i'm afraid. Listening to Applegarth Tanginoa is still 50-50 and they still have some doubts about Gaskell in contact. I reckon he's just in the squad in case Dagger doesn't pull through.

Thought he was very unlucky with the knock on as it was an unnecessary forced pass from what I recollect.

In 15 mins his stats wouldn’t be great would they? Maybe he just wasn’t fit which is why he never appeared again in a Trinity shirt but he seemed to do better with his carries than his stats suggest in my opinion.

Either way he had 15 mins how many mins has Atoni had to prove himself?

Atoni shouldn’t be anywhere near the 21 never mind 17. Worst over sea’s signing I’ve seen in my time of watching. Genuinely can anyone think of anyone worse.

There's so many different options we could choose from that squad. Unfortunately they're all absolutely abysmal.

The team lacks pace so subject to any injuries I’d go with…

Dagger
Kershaw
Lynne
Langi
Kaye
Milnes
Lino
Whitbread
Bowes
Bowden
Ashurst (cover at 9 when resting Bowes)
Hewitt
Pitts

Subs
Battye
Eseh
Tanginoa
Proctor

Taufua seems unfit and slow so isn’t an attacking threat and Wigans edges would also exploit that lack of pace.

With the pace that Wigan have you can't give our squad a hope. However it may help to reduce the Defecit if we pick a pack that can play without being subbed after 10 minutes ie without Atoni and Proctor.
