I think it's about time we start helping Mash and the team......maybe we should start doing something like this

your judging him on his first team performances.Im not talking about him continuing in a first team role… buying and selling players, coaching .I’m talking about him doing his previous role, bringing the young players through..a role he was more comfortable with.

Not judging him on any thing . Any body with half a brain could see this was going to happen ,when they got rid of W Poaching to bring in a Academy Coach . Went because of player power not training them right .,So what is the excuse for Applegarth, The team can not tackel ,run , pass a ball bringing injured players to the squad If this is better coaching than what W Poaching was doing it is mind blowing what Poaching was up to

It wasn’t working with Poching either. Other than a late season save it didn’t go very well at all. Obviously they have tried backing another coach but it hasn’t worked out and is looking like it might end up worse.

Poching is history. It’s not a Poching vs Apelgarth thing. It’s whether Apelgarth is ready. As it stands he’s not looking like he’s ready for a head coaches job. He needs to do more time as assistant and that’s no shame. He backed himself but we don’t always get things right.

I suspect we will have a new HC come in and Apelgarth revert to Youth/Assistsnt. Possibly in the off season.

Sadly after we are relegated.

It’s a form of protest against the current management of the club. Signs like the Donny road one were always going to appear the longer the losing run goes on.

Hard to see how you can protest the total crap that’s been served up this season. If you don’t go or withhold your money then it’s not helping the team . Allegedly the board don’t read social media so I personally sympathise the poster sentiments.

I don’t blame Applegarth for our woes but his inexperience sure isn’t helping matters.

Unfortunately the only way to change the performances is to sack him

This is a tough one for me. On the one hand something has to change and i dont think that MA has got the answers to change it. Unfortunately he is left shuffling a bad hand.

The off season signings have been dreadful, and the injury list in the backs again is horrendous.

I dont see a new coach changing things quickly enough to make a difference.

Luckily agent Miller is doing great work at Castleford, otherwise we would be relegated already.

"It didn't work with Poching either".

A 50% (ish) win ratio suggests otherwise to me.

"As it stands its looking like Applegarth isn't ready"

A 0% win ratio suggests to its not looking like it. It's absolutely nailed on.

Poching comes into the equation because we sacked him. Then replaced him with Applegarth. Who 1 man and his dog knew wasn't ready. I still to this day cannot comprehend the thought process beind this.
