One of the definitions of the word is honesty. Didn't Chris Chester question it on one of his post match interviews in a game earlier in the season.

Questioning me, and just about blaming me over the weekend, for the club almost going into administration. If you recall during 2012 our main sponsor went under owing the club a lot of money, which they didnt get back. Most RL would have struggled losing the amount of income they did. I said at the time, I was responsible for day to day processes but not for making financial decisions, like it would be in most companies.

FWIW in recent months, I care about the club that much, I sent ideas into both Michael and Chris, as to how the clubs profile could be improved, and potentially raise revenue.

Well you can't have been watching the game on Saturday then, as there's no way you could accuse any of the players of being dishonest. They were guilty of some pretty dumb rugby at times, but you couldn't question the effort being put in by any of them. But you just couldn't wait to stick your oar in and were made to look stupid when they turned it around at the end. Nothing wrong with saying negative things if they're true, but your accusation is quite clearly absolute nonsense.

I don't blame you personally for the club almost going under, that's certainly Glover and Elstons fault, but considering how reactionary and silly you quite regularly are on here then if you're in any way indicative of the kind of person they were employing then it's no wonder they nearly took us under.

Why don't you be honest and accept you got it spectacularly wrong on this one - we all make mistakes but there is no reason to carry on making them.

Yes, I did see the game, and I came across rather blunt.

I rarely comment mid game, but was getting frustrated about seeing it all over again, just wish we could leaen from it.

I actually highlighted to Andrew and Jimmy within 1-2 weeks on certain things that was costing the club too much money etc. Laughably, one was utility bills. The stadium was on a domestic tariff, in a sports stadium. One other point I will make regarding working in finance. I have worked in it for 25 years including a 3 year stint at Leeds Rhinos.

In the past on here, I have suggested certain things, I have been laughed at, ideas such as mini season tickets, memberships with a package to include a shirt, just to try and help increase crowds and revenue. Other clubs do it, and do it successfully. All I get is why dont you go and support this team or the other.

Have many people on here approached the club in the past with regards to ideas for the club.

Eastern Wildcat, your comments were spur of the moment and we all get emotional. Those who are now coming down on you like a tonne of bricks I'd ignore. We all have this club's interests at heart and get heated and say things we wouldn't upon reflection. Don't expect other people not take delight in your misgivings though... which reflects upon them nearly as bad. You apologised fella and that's all you can do. They can either accept it or not accept it.

But yes, I can assure you, someone on here suggested I did just that.

The club concerned did some of the same marketing strategies, that I mentioned. Unfortunately, they got relegated, but managed to sell 5000+ memberships.

If only we could manage that. We finished top 8, and how many did we sell roughly

Agree with Adam Harrison post. Everyone move on. Trinity are having a good season and if they can carry on getting wins here and there it'll be the best season for years.
