A member of the playing squad, tbh I take everything anyone says with a big pinch of salt, even yourself... No offense but you have denied to myself in person that we as a club had even talked with Tyler Randall and his signing was announced a few days later. I don't blame you one bit for that, it's no one's business especially if there isn't ink on paper but as I say that is the reason I take everything with a big pinch of salt but this is a forum and people hear different things.

I reckon I was on the money old boy  :?:

I have the added luxury that I can deny everything right up until the moment every piece of paperwork is SIGNED. Then we announce straight away, so before that is guesswork and speculation, and after that is fact!

If that's a question for me, I'm guessing.

Using the rules of conkers, I would suggest that Brough is worth 1.5 Grixes, so Hudds would want something else in the deal.

Rule of bonkers more like. :D

I have no idea how you work that out. Brough has zero value in the transfer market. All Hudds want is to get shut for whatever reason. If Grix goes the other way it isn’t a transfer it’s two end of career players sorting there last seaon out.

Ten years ago Brough was worth about five Grix but now they are both worth nothing. I imagine neither are of any interest to any other club but ourselves, Hudds and maybe London. This is the problem as some people insist on looking at the Brough of 25 not 35.

He will only be of interest to us because there is an incentive in it for us I suspect.

I can see no logic in any player going the other way unless we were desperate to dump them. I can’t see any reason why Hudds would want such a player.

Put simple Hudds want Brough of there books and will probably accept any interest including giving Grix a coaching roll.

The people moaning about the proposed Brough signing are probably the same ones moaning about our last tackle options last season.

Brough will put 100% in every game, and has in fact aged very well, he doesn't have the same blistering pace he used to have, but he's still plenty quick enough for a half. unfortunately, what hasn't aged well is his temperament. Where most older players make up for losing their skills with an 'old head' Brough is still the same hothead he has always been, in fact he has got worse in this regard with the number of times he was sin binned for mouthing off at officials testament to this fact. Brough will get you to big games, but not win them, when the stakes are the highest he can't control his emotions and play to the best of his abilities, this i believe is why Woolford has got rid. He will definitely get you more league points next season, he's still the best kicker in superleague, but don't expect to win things with him directing play.

Spot on, as I stated before Brough is the biggest choker in SL. I couldn't agree more about the big games. Over to you CC.

Assuming of course this is even happening.

Whatever people feel about Brough, I do think we will get some game time out of him at the very least.

I have just seen Wigan have re signed that burnt out old crock Lockers. Puts the bruffy signing into perspective.

It does, I’ll never get the SOL thing, never rated him.

Snap!!! Vasyt(l)y overated in my opinion. A"King's new clothes" player. All the media RL reporters had to praise him because he was the Wigan skipper and it was the thing to do.
