To prove this the incumbents admitted they had wanted to sign Gale before the season started but did not have any money. I only know Carter by reputation but maybe him confirming his departure hastened a new investor to come in now considering the timing. It may be a coincidence but it is also a possibility don’t you think members on Mensa.

So M C and J M get a no credit (think that is who you mean when you use the word incumbents) for finding a new invester , Do not think any investors would have stepped forward 10 year ago when we had a club that was millions of pounds in det, and a crap ground ,wait i forgot think M C did it.Agree there was a lot of money wasted on players at beginning of this season ,that could have been spent on L Gale.but Some fans would have not been happy with that .I admit i did not want him at the club and following on from the making Gaskell our 6 for start of season had give up all hope.But got to admit Gale as brought speed to the movment of the ball , even when out injured .Sorry you have not got sufficient brain cells( your words not mine)you should put it down to old age like me .Keep mind active by going on Clash of Clans give it a go ,it works for me

And I just checked.
BBC announced Carter stepping down 9th March
Ellis sponsorship announced 9 June.

So no correlation between them at all.

The facts are that until we received the additional investment from the new sponsor we were cascading towards relegation. The current incumbents were clearly out of ideas after trying the two week player loans. It was only the possible new owner who gave us a chance to survive, the incumbents without him would have just seen the season fizzle out.

Ok I did wander a little onto the band of negative posters on here, who seemingly like to bash the club owners at every opportunity, sometimes with unjustified personal attacks, hiding behind their anonymity.
Frankly, it gets boring reading the childish attacks on two particular men who have acted with the clubs best interest at heart. Ok, they haven't always got it right, as I've commented on previously, but I'm extremely proud of what they have, and are achieving for our club.
If you don't like my comments then tough, they are based on free thinking.
