A lot of things wrong with this post.
Firstly, a lot of people inherit money. I lived on Kettlethorpe as a kid, so you can imagine that I never will, but some people do. That's life.
Secondly, MC said right at the beginning that he sort of ended up with the club. So, a guy with some hobby-cash to throw around decides to throw a bit towards a local rugby club, at that time under the rich leadership of local blowhard Glover, but did so because it was fun and why not? The club hits the buffers because it was badly-run, so the guy puts everything on the line for the club, going from a side-interest to a full-time pursuit.
Thirdly, and in line with your previous posts, sometimes tough management upsets people, but a club like ours needs it, because we can't afford any passengers.
I get that if you get enough poison on a drip-drip basis, it gets into your bloodstream, but maybe time to pull out the drip for a while. I don't know the guy, and I might even find that I wouldn't like him if I met him, but he's turned the place around, at immense personal risk. I'm sure he's upset some people, but that's life. We need strict management.
As for Covid breaches, people do all the time. I can bet everyone on here has met someone they shouldn't have met, a relative or someone, or not counted the bubbles, or strayed within two metres, or done something. Players have. I have. Even Wayne Bennett did!
Spot on slugger.
Sadly the poison is two deep with this one. But true to form, one win and he’ll be claiming his support and that he and MC are like blood brothers. This poster has history, he’s swapped sides that many times he’d make a quisling blush.
