For a start not having ago at murphy he has said has a fantastic future and took his try well but the intial point 2 trys came from where he has gifted them possession in a way the tip tackle was a penalty all day long legs above horizontal and the secind he disnt stand to play the ball and hes been pinged as previous stated he is still on a learning curve but peeps on here moan about errors costing us trys and technically they where errors and he is no way been blamed by me for defeat and yes with ball in hand he was probally the best tonight.
As for tommy i got the impression thats a guy who didnt want to get hurt weather thata cos of all the injuries or to protect a move who knows if he does think it will benifit both parties as he will be on good money which can be used elsewhere should we manage to stay up and yes we do have ideal replacement in murphy.
On a much more positive note when we next ko in toulouse ill be in sin city so it wont dampen my day like tonight has
I’m not comfortable with either call on Murphy.
I can kind of understand both but I’m not comfortable.
The tackle was fantastic. In my opinion Lutelli, who is a world class centre, understands he had been dominated and twists to find his front whilst on the air.
For a long time I’ve said whilst the impetus is on the defender to look after the ball carrier, the ball carrier has to look after themselves too.
There were tons of scruffy post there balls all night. In fact I’ve not seen as poorly reffed rucks in a long time. I’m watching it back now and there are hands and hips and elbows all over the player playing the ball from both sides all night.
Ref only seemed interested though when Murphy and Fafita got it wrong on the lead up to the second try.
