It may well be the case that the new owner is waiting to see whether they are investing in a SL club or a Championship club as there would likely be a very different price tag and it's not unreasonable to think that the "investment" made this season would have to be taken into account - it would be strange to have a new buyer pumping in "sponsorship" to ensure that they were buying a "better product".
However, we should levee this to the parties involved.
Despite the sniping and criticisms, everyone on here wants the best for Wakefield Trinity and despite the abysmal first half of the season, the club is moving in the right direction.
