If I do any exercise or physical work I get out of breath. Are you telling me this is dangerous?
Your stories ring all the fake news alarm bells. People, locations and times are all deliberately vague. Give specific examples of real people. Jon Wells getting slightly out of breath running up stairs with a mask on is not hypoxia. It's the body's natural reaction to an increased demand for oxygen.
Of course there are some people with existing breathing problems who may struggle to wear a mask, but surely they should be shielding anyway?
John Wells did not, and niether did I say "running" up stairs. Climbing stairs was the quote. And I'm sure Wells knows the difference between climbing with and without a mask.
Now now then coco, wouldn't want you go spreading fake news now would we?
As for "fake news". Hardly earth shattering anecdotes are they? Why on earth would someone make those up?

I can, but how do I prove THEY are real people. You think they would thank me for giving out their personal details?
As for deliberatley vague. How do I know "coco the fullback" is a real person?
You know full well people don't give their full names, details on line. But to think they are made up beggars beliefe.
No, it sounds to me coco the fullback (how about YOUR real details) that your a nothing but a conspiracy theorist.

So wear a visor face cover instead. Same job, more air. Problem solved. It really didn't need all that rant really.
Get rid of the masks in favour of visors? Well, I'm glad that we finaly agree on something. ....the first part anyway.
Well, did it need a rant?
I really don't see why, on a forum especially, why experiences cannot be shared. Be they personal or anecdotal. There are people who may be interested in the effect mask wearing has. Those who have yet to mask up. That includes myself. Why do you object to that? This isn't the BBC you know.

'I work in a well known pharmacy' reads like a rejected draft of a Mills & Boons 'tore the mask from her face and left smiling' hopefully to live a longish life.
The above utter garbage Miro take up painting like your Joan it may make you a little more relaxed
A little dramatic yes, some folk are like that.
Now, why is the above "utter garbage" Can you be more specific other than take a cheap shot at a little artistic licence.
My guess is you won't answer that, will you?
And your obsession with Joan Miro, want to talk about it ? Good to see you take an interest in art and literture, such as reading the books of Mills and Boons. Do you like the Barbara Cartland books?
Jeez, how I would love some real debate on here. Still, posts like yours offer some amusement in this world of covid regulations, a world your hero's are trying to suck all the joy out of.

Real people wasn't probably the best phrase. What I meant was if you don't want your 'evidence' to be dismissed it needs to come from reliable and verifiable sources. A.N.Other on Twitter is not such a source, neither is 'coco the fullback' on RL fans.
The only 2 reliable/verifiable sources you quote are WebMD, which doesn't even mention masks or even suggest that wearing masks could cause hypoxema/hypoxia and John Wells is verifiable, but anecdotal.
It is true that covering your mouth will restrict oxygen flow a little, particularly during physical exertion, but this is absolutely not a problem for anyone who doesn't have serious breathing issues anyway. I would suggest that climbing stairs would be a problem anyway for someone with severe asthma, bronchitis, COPD etc. with or without a mask. However, catch this virus and you may then know about breathing difficulties, possibly long-term.
So, if you want us to take your evidence seriously, give us some reliable/verifiable source that links mask wearing to hypoxema/hypoxia in otherwise healthy humans.
Google is your friend, or in this case maybe not...

I can't find where it says that on your link. What it does say is that masks work by forming a physical barrier to stop droplets of getting from someone's mouth to your nose or mouth. A visor does that doesn't it.
A mask is nound to be better but that doesn't mean a visor doesn't work. It's standard hospital equipment.
According to the article Pop Tart, "plastic visors may well give some protection to the wearer, but it does not stop the spread of droplets / spray etc when the wearer is coughing or sneezing" So if the person has corona virus and does not know , they could be unknowingly spreading the virus.

During my nursing degree, I did a research piece on face masks used in hospital by staff from suppliers such as Kimberly Clark. I was told - before and during my research - that they were " a waste of time" even wearing them in theatre during operating procedures. In fact, some surgeons didn't wear them during surgery. My research concluded that they are a useful barrier from the spread of droplet or airborne infections for about 12 minutes max. So you would have to wear quite a few a day to be protected. Nothing has changed. The only mask to protect you would be an FFP3 mask, for which a person has to be "fit tested"
'Artistic Licence' a phrase used to try and add credibility when all that's happening is a distortion/addition to the facts to suit the messenger..
Well, we can't presume that how she described the moment didn't really happen that way. Someone on here rubbished her and I said maybe she used a little "artistic licence." I don't know that and neither do you. The accusation that she was "adding credibility" to her experience is pure conjecture.
Now, how did she put it?
'tore the mask from her face and left smiling' hopefully to live a longish life."
Is this better.
"Took her mask off, smiled and left. I hope she lives a long time."
Maybe It's like saying (in retrospect) "Tom Johnstone flew into the air and placed the ball over the try line"
Now we know Tom can't fly but no one would seriously nit pick that description........would they?
