It personally makes no difference to me where Trinity play, my concern would be, if it were to be at Glasshoughton, whose ground would it be?
If Trinity were just lodgers then, the writing would be on the wall. I can imagine a large number of Cas fans creaming themselves at the thought.
If, however, the ground was joint owned, that’s a different prospect.
But, at the end of the day, both clubs can stagger on from season to season, winning jack-all. Whilst unpalatable, a joint club is IMO is the only way to have serious ambitions to win some silverware.
I can understand Cas fans exulting the virtues of Glasshoughton, I wonder if they would go and watch a merged team there, and not one with the name Castleford in it?
