Obst & John at halfback is no doubt an improvement on this year but Obst would be better coming off the bench as a replacement hooker for me with a genuine quality number 7 coming in. Not sure whether one is available though.

Which private school did one go to :)

Why would you want Moore to learn his craft from someone who is sub-standard in the role?

Obst has no kicking game, no real rugby brain and certainly can't run a game from half back; Moore has the potential to do all those things so if he's to be mentored, it should be by someone who can actually do the things he's meant to be passing on.

Sam Obst was then - this is now.

Yeah but Bren don't forget he's a 100%er who can tackle well above his weight. What more do you need in a half back?

So if Obst signs they'll be no Tongia then, too many overseas players.

Once a Sandal Wild Cat always a Sandal Wild Cat.

Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

Bring back the British Coal shirts for 2012

Come home Steve Georgallis & Nigel Wright

So be it!

Charlie is a better fullback IMO. Tongia has fundamental areas of improvement, as does Charlie, only difference his areas of improvement have never been on the field. Tongia IMO needs a lot of defensive coaching for FB, or even on the wing really, far too easy to get by. On top of that I don't like loose carries, he cost us on a few occasions when the ball hit the deck after a loose carry.

I'd much rather have Fox & Mort on the wing and Charlie at FB, with Tony to cover either position in case of injury.

Tongia may become a gem, but IMO we can't afford to develop him at this time.

Would be good to add Lee Smith or Mathers in there too.

I'd much rather have Moore at scrum half, Lee as a back up hooker and take a chance on Tongia than have Obst back.
