Sounds like a John Minards type appointment… the nouse to work on the facilities but perhaps a bit more personal wealth.

You can't really compare him to Minards mate. He's bought a third of the Cas shareholding and already pumped a 7 figure sum into the finances.

What Minards brought was know-how. We've had plenty of people with money. None of them got the stand done.

If they have a Minards they are competing with us again. If they have someone with money, I'm not worried.

I think he said he is looking to invest a seven figure sum but over two seasons.

I can and I did…regard his background… and his skill set is similar… JM was in the big consultancy corporate world… this guy is has private interests…

That’s correct, the only money he’s pumped in so far has gone straight to the Fulton s for his 32% share, he has no notable wealth (well not a multi millionaire) I’ll stick with my original opinion, he’s in to real estate, that’s all his long term interest is in

He will certainly be able to guide cas in the right direction regarding the planning application process and the construction thereafter.
It looks like the money he puts in over the next couple of years will be to do the stands up to help gain an A grade.
I’m guessing that cas will get an application approval sometime in the new year probably with a revamped stadium drawing that the EA are happy with…
However they can’t make a start on the stadium for at least another year because they will need the IMG points from the main stand to push them towards 15points when the scores are totted up again In October.
