i dont know if there is any truth in this or not but if as alot of your fans have said who went to shedingley on boxing day broughy did not look interested and looked as though he would have rather been anywhere other than on the pitch it does make you wonder. Broughy has (acording to some kr fans) been saying he wants to play for kr at some point since he signed for you, so to be honest i wouldnt be suprised if this happened but i cant see any cash being involved from either team, another reson this could be a good swap is because at the end of 2010 both players will be leaving the clubs on free transfers anyway so there could be some thinking along these lines from both clubs. Also having watched him at cas i know just as you do when he is on form he is the best half back in the league but when he takes his ball home i wouldnt touch him with a bargepoll.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...

Whilst I am sure that Kear would like Cooke in his team and the Brough to Rovers rumours has some credence surely the fact that Rovers have Dobson at scrum half would mean a play for Brough unlikely?

Very much doubt all this ... We can not afford Cookes wages and for all the speculation i dont think that Cooke wants to play for Wakefield ... I doubt in turn that Hull KR can afford to pay Danny Broughs wages and are looking to reduce there wage bill ... I think that both players will see out there seasons and possibly Brough will sign a new contract with us ...

I don’t see why my post has warranted a reply like that from you, I was in no way trying to troll all I was doing was just putting across an argument that there may be some truth in this rumour. I really don’t understand some of (not all) you Wakefield fans on this forum, if anyone puts on a post that for some reason touches a nerve you go straight onto the defensive, I mean how has my post here managed to get a response from you of ( CAS cant get funding for there ground) all I can think is that you must have it on your mind day and night that you really don’t want CAS to get a new ground and for what reason that is really don’t know, I mean yours is all sorted now isn’t it  . Anyway I don’t want to derail another one into another ground argument so happy New Year pal  .
