Looks like Hall doesn't want to play for us

Re: Wakefield v Warrington : Sun Jul 12, 2015 4:33 pm
I'm not using this as an excuse, as we just weren't good enough today. But why is it other teams are constantly being allowed to slow down the play of the ball by laying on/hands in, aswell as seemingly being a few paces in front of the ref by the time we've played the ball? Brian Smith mentioned something similar the other week. Is it my rose tinted glasses, are we just not as enthusiastic as other teams, or are other teams being allowed to dictate the game more than we are?

Anakin and Hall will hopefully not figure further this season. Hall pathetic. Anakin too small, brushed off easily, penalty machine and prone to schoolboy errors. I'm sure he would look a world beater in the championship.

Where were Lyn and Arundel? Completely anonymous.

Forwards and Miller played really well. Locke not fit enough to dominate.

Yes was disappointed with Annakin. I thought he'd be good at 13 and Smith gave him a chance but didn't show up.

I don't think Annakin 'shouldn't play again' just that he wasn't good enough today.
Dan Smith and Washbrook will certainly be in front of him at 13 and Simon and Anderson being back limits his role at prop.

I'm not wanting to just bag the guy, because to his credit he does look enthusiastic. A prop? Never in a million years, I repeat he does not have the stature. Hard running second rower, maybe.

Hall had chance to shine today and did not do so, it's not surprising therefore that he is copping for a fair amount of criticism from quite a few fans, however what I find amusing is the usual suspects on here what give Miller a hard time at every opportunity are unusually quiet, i suppose we can take their stoney silence of him as begrudging acceptance of his brilliant game today.

Other than being the only player in the squad with any sort if long kicking game Hall didn't show anything to suggest he should be our srand off. For me we continue to look poor in the centres, Lyne and Arundal offer no threat whatsoever and today once again Lyne was a turnstyle in defence. Annakin probably gad his worst game in a Wakey shirt and for me i'm not sure what Tansey on the wing and Sio at loose forward add that we didn't already have other than adding depth. Not sure what the bagging of Riley by certain posters again is about, he was fine today. He was nowhere near touch in the first half when given out and got a very bad bounce when going for the ball just after. It was good to see Anderson back and putting in a good shift and the rebirth if Miller is amazing. Probably as many questions as answers from today but overall not bad and plenty to work with.

I wasn't a Miller bagger and am pleased he's found some form. However this is mostly just individual stuff. He's not our creative answer.

Not entirely but he was involved in quite a few passing movements. He needs a good stand off!
