Betts complained about it a couple of years ago too, but that's probably about it.
It is likely one of the best pitches as it's one of the most established, however I think there were some concerns following the opening match against Hull and several tons of sand were thrown on it to dry it out. This may have hardened the ground too much now we're into the dryer weather.
