Ultimately if the portrayed reason the stadium doesn't get built is because the club didn't agree terms then they truly have won and the scandal will never hit the mainstream news.

Agree to unacceptable terms and let me tell you the are well and truly unacceptable and the Club dies a lingering death or refuse to accept them and they have won and the Club dies.
