I don't agree Bojo. We should aim for top 8 every year yes but that doesn't mean this squad can't get top 4.
We were seconds from it last year because we played near our best for long runs of games but not every game.
No team is 100% all the time. We need to try be as hi as we can. The limitation of the squad is more about depth. Injuries, form dip and Easter weekend are all going to hurt a team like ours more than most.
But we can still do it. It's in us to achieve.

My ambitions for us at start of this season was top 8 and stadium deal signed off.

As others have stated a little more composure and game management is what we are lacking. We spend the least in the league by some distance yet have competed with the big teams over the last 4 matches.

I understand it is frustrating having lead the last 3 away games at half time (especially today with a 10 point lead) however any team isn't always going to win the 50/50 games.

We have played Wigan, Warrington & Hull away from home who spend a significant amount more than us and are unlucky not to come away with some points - 3/4 years ago id go to places like Wigan and be happy that we didn't get 40+ put on us.

We have come a long way in a short space of time!!

Keep the faith this is the best side we've had since promotion to Super League.

Of course. And this team is well capable of that. From what I have seen this season I would be very surprised if we didn't. Once the pitches get better (we always seem to do better in better conditions) and we get some luck, of which we have had next to none so far, I think we will probably achieve similar to last season. We certainly don't look worse

Well said! I have seen nothing but incompetence and occasionally worse from Chairmen over my 48 years as a fan up the tenure of MC.... for once we have a fantastic Chairman who gives 110% and a great group of players who do the same. I think we have a good coach who is getting better with experience. We don't have money to burn but for once we are financially stable. The ground is our only black spot and mostly this appears to be out of our control. I for one will back them and I reckon unswerving support and a big support at matches is like an 18th man. This is the best period in all my years as a fan barring the wretched ground situation, so UP THE TRIN!!

I don't necessarily agree with that statement, Daddycool. Did we not finish last season above both Saints and Wigan? Both of whom I presume are part of the top four spenders that you refer to. What about the nilling of Wigan and the fine win over Leeds (another top spender) last season? We can beat these teams, but there is just a "Je ne sais quoi" that prevents us going the full distance year after year.

we are yet to beat a side that isn't in the bottom 4- we will soon join them if we don't have some wins soon.

we are now only 2 points off 9th ......

That's a load of bull and you know it. The bottom 4 or 5 are regularly getting their ar5e5 kicked.
