Stopping this from going onto a Toronto thread lol - I don't think Westerman would add anything to our club however if we were to sign him and he made an impact on our season then I would happily eat my hat.

Just like to see something come from all the speculation...

They need an academy producing younger players and have Canadians in there starting team before they are allowed in to SL
I really want the wolf pack do well and benefit the sport but I don't agree with the inclusion if they are just a club of NRL/SL players producing no young Canadian players as it will be at the expense of a heartland club in SL

Westerman would be a great edition to our team particularly if danny retires at the end of the year

Although though the way kirmo is playing so well at the mo I think he may be with us another season

50/50 on this one, plenty of stories about him being a bit of a head case and he mixes in the same circles as Watts, Owen etc with plenty of other undesirables from the Fryston parish but he can certainly play. Kirkmond is sadly on his way down but he's deffo been a good one.

Can`t really see Kirmond going beyond this season. Is he due a testimonial?

Westerman would be a decent signing, never really fulfilled the potential that he promised earlier in his career but is good SL player.

In his situation, if he wants a move back to SL and especially around the WY area i dont think he can be too picky with his options. That said, i can see Leeds been in for him. He is the there type of player and they are light in the forwards anyway.

A little on the fence with this one to be fair.

Comparing him to the back rowers we already have, and given his rumoured off field baggage he has, then it would be a no no.

Having said that, should this be Kirnos last season and if Horo doesn’t settle, then all of a sudden we look a little lighter in the back row.

Crowther, Batchelor and Annakin though, are all worthy of a more regular place in the side, not forgetting Ashurst and Arona.

Also, doesn’t Chessie see Pauli playing as a back rower. Sure he said that in an interview earlier in the year
