You can't make it any clearer.
That view of a winger is from the 50s.
They now need to be robust enough to make yards on kick return when the forwards have charged the kick. They need to be able to take a high ball under pressure as the wing is now the most often target of the "up and under". They need to be able to manage the defense and pull their colleagues along the line to keep the numbers right. They need to be able to finish a move given the new corner flag rule.
Just putting the fast lad on the wing isn't enough these days.
TJ ticks many of these boxes and will in my and it seems many of our opinions will play for England, but Hall and McGilivray have shown they can do it on the big stage.
If you just want someone faster than Hall you would be playing MCB
