It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"

If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

Sharing First World problems so you can get it right first time.

A lot of people criticise Finn for his defence however I don't see anyone mention how Hampshire was constantly bumped off tackles at Leeds on Friday, especially in the first half. It is very rare to find a half back who is strong in defence.

Maybe when people debate which half back we play we should also focus on their strengths, because going on Friday's performance, defensively there was little to choose between the two of them.

Do you mean the two wingers who are both high in the top 10 try scorer list?

He's got a point though PT! rarely do our wingers score a try from an overlap situation.
Our wingers have to scrap for their tries, unlike others at Saints etc where a lot of the tries are 'walk ins' for the winger!

.

At least he was close enough to try and make a tackle. I think that's the point with Finn even before we start discussing last tackle kicks.

Re: Hull next week : Mon Jul 16, 2018 8:08 am
This idea of simply passing a ball to the wingers is silly, they would get tackled into touch all the time. RL is a game about territory and possession, to win games a team needs to dominate these two factors. Winning sides look after possession, they play risk free when coming out of defense, they get to the 6th tackle, they kick well, they hand over possession as near to opponents try line as possible. They should only`' play'' when in the final third of the field near to opponents try line. Gallant losers throw the ball sideways without first getting on the front foot and in their own half, are roundly applauded for having a go and end up losing games. Keep it simple, no mistakes, high completion, dominate field position, good kick chase to the corners, repeatedly hard straight running around the ruck, that is how to play consistent winning RL. It really is a simple game, that said you need to be the toughest, hardest, determined, durable athletes in the world to play it.

I can't see anything else but a Wakefield win next week.

We have the following players potentially out:

Shaul
Faraimo (possible ban)
Griffin
Connor
Talanoa
Kelly (possible concussion)
Sneyd
Bowden
Manu
Westerman
Green

So that is our starting 1-7 and 4 of our pack. We are desperate for a win, we need to keep a reasonable gap to Warrington in 4th

You've had some bad luck this year with the injuries. I thought you'd have a big year as well.

We just need a win. Already nervous about this one, not how this season was supposed to pan out. Get the win, learn our lessons for 2019 and get the right signings in.

I am proud of our lads, 5th with the injury hit season we have had. I don't think we have played 1 game with what I would class as our starting 17

We are not falling for that crap, at least half of those, if not more will play against us. We are always the team people seem to get their injured back for. Last week against Leeds was a prime example of that.
