Nah mate, disillusionment and frustration are among the main reasons, inconsistently poor refereeing, a governing body what are absolutely incompetent, that old saying the left hand doesn't know what the right hands doing, well in their case they don't even know the right hand exists, the uncertainty of what's happening to the game coupled to the uncertainty of our club with regards to our future which is a main concern, mid table club playing decent rugby, on the biggest and one of the best pitches in SL because we don't fit into sky's image we need to go, it's a shame sky can't get their own house in order and put a decent presentation on with decent presenters, sadly I'm not the only one, there are far more old fans leaving the game than new fans coming into the game.
I'm with you on that too pal on everything you have said, frustrating doesn't cut it, its fast becoming a farce, I even feel sorry for the Bradford fans who put in a fair effort to save there club only for it thrown back in there face. I can't see an end to it and I feel guilty for turning my back on the club not being able to attend to many games this season when I had the time
My heart still there but its fading fast very fast
From what you say you've supported them nearly as long as me so it must be in your blood too. Isn't your post really a list of reasons to hang in supporting the Trin. If you remove major family events then nothing compares with being present at a typical, against all odds, Wakey triumph. Be that on or off the pitch.
To be honest if it wasn't for the club I'd have been done 5 years ago, I understand everything you say but there are other things away from the game to take into account which are more demanding and something has to give, and the way I feel about the game atm it's not a hard decision to make, like your good self I've seen the good and the bad down there and having had 60 penneth of it sadly it's time to call it a day.

Well old lad looks like I'm going to outlast you as a supporter.
I must admit I have the same opinion as yourself in many ways, however when I see the brain dead hords shopping at ASDA in their 0000's when there is a match on. I am glad I am not turning into one of them

Cant argue with any of that and the governing body are making even more of a mess of thing currently than they have for some time. If anything happened to Trinity, I'd be hanging may scarf next to yours but, while Trinity are rolling, I'd rather be supporting them and trying to do what little we can to spite the "plastic seat brigade" and keep giving some of the arrogant "big clubs" a bloody nose. There is still nothing better than tonking Wigan, Saints or Leeds.

We'll see you again when the glory days return. Just like at Cas last year, everyone comes back out of the woodworks when a club starts to win things
I suspect he's driving past it on the way to Belle Vue.
Correct Wild shot.
I must admit I am chilling on the away games somewhat especially going over the M62 on a Friday night. I also miss a couple of home games due to being out of the country. However I still attend as many as I can and going to 20 games a season is only about 60 hours in a year of your life when you work it out !
You can moan all you like about things in the game and many are justified points. However 60 hours in a life year is naff all to fit in. I can think of many more things I spend time on that I would prefer to cut down on, before saving the odd few hours avoiding Wakey games.
