Those who are confident of a starting place when SL starts, just want some game time and fitness, the fringe players try to impress, as do any youngsters who just want to get noticed by the coach.

Nah they will both be happy - had Chester been bothered about winning the game he would have kept the same team throughout then we’d probably have got 40+.

Radford will be happy with anything after last year. Hull did OK but they wernt that light on numbers and with Kelly and Sneyd and a few others playing they were not without some class.

Decent run out that’s all friendlies really are.

Was Sneyd playing? Didn't notice him but gave up trying to follow who was on the pitch.

Sneyd didnt play and they were very light on first team numbers

The ones that didnt play
Sneyd,minchello,Manu,Westerman,Bowden,Green,Talanoa,Tuimavave,Griffin but i agree its a pre season run out and in Hulls case an idea how some of our younger players stood up to Super League competition.
Of our four 18 year old players Brown at prop stood out for me

Sorry got the wrong name I meant the FB Shaul.

A club the size of Hull should still be able to field a competitive team even with eight out, come on we can manage that.

However that’s exactly what you did so I really don’t see why you feel the need to make excuses tbh.

Don't think anyone is making excuses. It's a friendly, win or lose I don't care. Just pointing out that there is plenty of quality to come back into that side.

To be fair, I am a wakey fan and I think I mentioned the amount of missing hull players first and you and a couple of other hull fans just put some names to the list

I know that's what I'm saying, didn't even need mentioning. It's a squad game these days and with 8 players missing you were still competitive, job done. We were lucky to be able to basically play two different team, again great stuff. Not a believer in injury crisis stuff tbh, it's a Wigan excuse when tbh at least your first 25 players should be potentially first choice players. The only time it's valid is if you lose all your players in one position which isn't he case for you. Enjoy your season I think youll have a better one.
