Friday is also less disruptive for preparation, with games being selected for Sky, trips to France and the fact that the majority of other clubs now seem to play on Fridays.
Having said that, getting "over the hill" for any evening kick offs is a real pain in the booty and you would expect less support from the "Lancashire" clubs if we moved to Fridays.
On the plus side, it opens up the weekend to host other stuff at BV, which could be a "win" for the club , in terms of additional income ?
Although Wakefield's attendances are increasing gradually, it becomes ever harder for fans to follow the side to all home and away games, which is a real shame.
I guess times have changed and it's all about "maximising revenue" rather than providing entertainment for the masses.
