Toronto will get the public interest, especially in the first instance, but that will wane as the season progresses. I dare say looking at the bigger picture Toronto, if it does take off, will be a shot in the arm for the game which Featherstone, or indeed any existing UK club, will not be able to provide. However, I would also imagine Fev will be around for a lot longer than Toronto.
Long term everyone would be better off with a full time NA league as I imagine if it did take off across the pond the likes of New York etc will soon get fed up of playing tin pot clubs from small towns in Northern England like Wigan and St Helens.
