It's a tricky one. Most people won't because they want the club to survive, but if you are on a zero hours contract, have no money either coming in or in the bank and your rent is due, a refund might just save you from eviction. I get it.
I think we'll be okay. Pubs and cafes just need to get their heads around a 3 month shutdown. The removal of business rates and the cash grants might pay the rent and utiltiies, which will be the only outgoings, so they can just re-open once it's announced that we can all go out and get trashed again. It's the staff who will struggle the most, as I doubt the SSP will come through immediately.
The small self-employed will struggle the most, those who freelance or whatever.
But the summer will end and most of us will still be here. The actual contraction rate is less than 1%.
