Open request to Mr M Carter, CEO Wakefield Trinity RLFC:
Mr Carter,
I was born in Wakefield and have lived within this city all my life, and Wakefield Trinity have been a very big part of my life for 64 years.
I. like many other supporters forfeited my Platinum membership after just four league games in the hope that the sacrifice would enable me, and others, to carry on watching our Club for years to come. Results over the last two seasons have done nothing to sustain the supporters' interest. We are obviously heading down a cul-de-sac in which there appears to be no space to turn around.
Could you, Mr Carter, please tell the supporters just why they should spend hard-earned money and invest in a season ticket for next season. As things are going the 2021 season would appear to be similar to this unless there are BIG changes. The only difference being there will be relegation next year, and Wakefield Trinity will probably disappear as you yourself have indicated in the past.
In the interest of All supporters don't you think that a man of "Honesty", as you claim you are, should offer some explanations and expectations to the long-suffering fans.
If Wakefield Trinity were a "product" we would be in a position to request refunds as the product would be deemed not fit for purpose.
You have commented many times on this Forum under your alias, but now, when the Club are in such a dire coaching and playing situation your silence is somewhat deafening.
I await in anticipation of your non-response.
