Very much so. There was dozens of identical play the balls go unfinished all game. In fact Prior did exactly the same in the very next set.

He explained why on field. The difference between those ptb and the penalty was that it was a surrender tackle and you need to stand up properly for a surrender tackle.

It's a shame for Salford. I wish they'd won, but the were competetivevand had their chances. Just couldn't take them.

Right at the beginning when the squads walked out I saw a Salford hand touching the stand of the cup and thought it would be tempting fate

Nah. He did that for us. He just didn't do anything else much for us.

For me, the one who proved a point is Richard Agar. Clearly an excellent coach but our fans beasted him for every move he made. I'm sure he's ok how it turned out for him.

The lazy lump that was signed by Ian Watson who knows where/how/when to play him every week and has lost weight because of good conditioning....

Could’nt lace Watkins boots , got a team brimming with some the best players in the league n nearly got pipped today . Seen all I want of him thank you

Two plays later the Dirty Leeds player does exactly the same thing and nothing is given.
.....and people wonder why fans moan about the referees inconsistencies.......

Salford had a brain explosion at the end.
Why on earth didnt they just set up a DG with the position that they had.

As for Pauli, he still looks lazy, hs work rate doesn't seem to have improved at all.
Very much a luxury player.

Always disappointed with Leeds winning anything but, please that Burrow gets a special day, he certainly deserves one.

An excellent cup final though

And that explanation was utter bolox as well. You have to stand up and play the ball EVERY tackle. That is the rules! Pauli didn’t granted, but he did have Leeds players all over him. Prior did exactly the same with less interference. The decision either way should have been the same!
