This is what gets me. Wigan and Saints regularly blood young players but we seem reluctant to. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't play one who is not mature enough physically or mentally, but they aren't all immature!
I'd say their players are more physically ready. And they have a strong team to support them when they debut.
Vastmans idea of once leigh are confirmed bottom of the league then we play kids and squad members in what he describes as trial games to finish our season. Having already lost 13 games this season I suppose losing another 6 or 7 games would really help shift season tickets. Strongest team every week, win as many games as we can to finish as high as we can, that is what the fans expect and deserve.
I get what Vasty is saying though. I don't think we should just play the u19s but we should look to play a couple of young ones for short spells. Ayden especially.
But, and it's a big BUT. The supporters need to appreciate that and not round on the young players or new coach when it doesn't quite work.
And if I was coach, trying to get a new job, I wouldn't trust those supporters to do that, so would go for a win with best team possible in every game (But I'd still play Ayden right now.

While that is what we all expect to see the strongest team available I'd like us see us blood at least one player every game, I'm mean he doesn't need to play the full 80.mins but can be selected in a position that suits him
